It’s a fabulous art museum. It’s the right size, there’s a lot to see without it being overwhelming. There’s no shortage of beautiful pieces, both inside and outside. You can find

Located on Mizner Square with excellent places to shop and eat. Attractive building and attentive staff.

  • Children’s Science Explorium

You’re going to love spending time exploring with your young children here. They always change the display but the favorites stay the same. Be sure to explore the hallway for the beautiful artwork on the walls. It will be a welcome break from the heat after your visit to Sugar Sand Park. Let the children play with different experiences and have fun while learning. Outside there is a large playground and a nice merry-go-round.

Family Activities

  • Gumbo Limbo Nature Center

This is a good address to learn more about turtles and to enjoy an outdoor activity next to the ocean. This turtle hospital is now run by many very friendly volunteers. We can see the direct impact of pollution, especially on turtles. There is also a small trail where you can see many butterflies depending on the season. And if you arrive at the end of the day the sunsets are beautiful. Admission is free but you can donate. There are picnic tables in the park.

  • FAU Stadium

The stadium has a great view and with a capacity of around 30,000 people, you are never far from the action. The stadium staff is very friendly and welcoming. Seating is comfortable. The games attract a family crowd. The location is safe and the stadium is not difficult to find. Parking is good and there are plenty of places to buy food. There are many affordable food choices and the beer is cold.
